There are endless ways to serve at Westminster. But sometimes, though we want to serve, we aren’t sure where we fit in. Our Ministry Opportunities Volunteer Form may be a useful tool as you try to decide. Westminster’s various ministries are broken down and organized by our church’s commissions, made up of members who volunteer to oversee WPC activities. Please feel free to print the form, ask God to lead you into the right area of service, and fill out and turn it into/email the church office. One of our staff members will contact you with further information!

Get Involved!

There are several ways to help at Carpenter’s Place. You can prepare a 20-minute devotional to deliver at Carpenter’s Place, shop for needed food supplies, help with food preparation and/or food packing, transport food from Westminster to Carpenter’s Place, and/or serve at Carpenter’s Place.

Details: fourth Monday of each month 8:30am-8:50am for devotional, and the fourth Friday of each month for meal preparation & service

Twice a year (Spring & Fall), help make Bell School Road beautiful as part of Help Keep Northern IL Beautiful day.

Gather together for a meal packing event, assembling nutritious meals that will be sent to hungry children around the globe through Kids Around the World.

Gather in the Activity Center on a wintry Saturday morning and help fill bags with holiday meal staples for families in need in our community. Bags are then made available to the following: Children’s Home & Aid Society, Ministry of Restoration, Lifescape Community Services, Rosecrance, & Access Services.

Each Fall, buy and drop off school supplies at Westminster for kids in need. Kits are assembled and dispersed throughout Blackhawk Presbytery.
