Lauren List, Preschool Director

Lauren joined Westminster Presbyterian Church Preschool in the summer of 2025 as Assistant Director and Lead Teacher. In the fall of 2026, she will step into the role of Preschool Director. In this position, she provides leadership for the preschool program, develops engaging learning experiences, and partners with families to support the growth and development of each child.

Lauren brings more than seven years of experience in early childhood education, including work as a paraprofessional, supporting children with special needs, substitute teaching, and lead teaching. She earned an Associate Degree in Early Childhood Education with a specialization in Special Needs from Rasmussen University in 2016. Before entering the field of education, Lauren worked as a licensed cosmetologist and hairstylist.

Lauren is married to Steve, and together they have three children: Landen, Lennon, and Layla. Their family also includes two dogs and three cats.

When she is not at preschool, Lauren enjoys spending time with family and friends, drinking coffee, exploring the outdoors, learning more about her faith, and expressing her creativity in a variety of ways.
